In addition to the general objectives of this Chapter (13.10), the “TP” District is included in the Zoning Ordinance to achieve the following purposes:
(a) To protect and maintain the timberland of the County through regulation of timberland use; to establish a zone district consistent with the mandates of the California Timberland Productivity Act of 1982; to protect the health, safety and welfare of the people of Santa Cruz County; and to preserve agriculture and other open space uses where compatible with timberland uses.
