18.36.010 Notice.

Appeal may be made to the board of adjustment and appeals from any decision, determination or requirement of the director or any department regarding this title by filing notice thereof in writing to the office of the department of planning within fifteen days after such decision or determination or requirement is made. Such notice shall set forth in detail the action and the grounds upon which the subdivider deems himself aggrieved. (Ord. 789 § 1 (part), 1974: prior code § 11-1.24(a))

18.36.020 Hearing.

The board of adjustment and appeals, following the filing of the appeal, shall set a time within thirty days for a hearing on the appeal; and such hearings may, for good cause, be continued by order of the board. Upon determination by the board that the decision, determination, or requirement of the director or any department regarding this was in error, the board may modify or overrule the decision, determination or requirement appealed from, and may enter any order or orders in harmony with the spirit and purpose of these regulations. Where no error in the decision, determination or requirement appealed from is determined to exist, the board shall approve the actions of the director or department regarding this title. Action of the board regarding such appeal shall be final. (Ord. 789 § 1 (part), 1974: prior code § 11-1.24(b))
