Pursuant to and under the authority of section 445-15 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes, any religious, charitable or educational organization or institution in the county shall be exempt from the payment of the annual fees imposed in section 445-5 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes pertaining to food products, and in section 445-93 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes, pertaining to engaging in restaurant business; provided, that such organization or institution shall not be regularly engaged in such business. Any organization or institution exempt from the payment of the fees mentioned in this chapter shall, notwithstanding section 5.20.010, be required to obtain the necessary license therefor as provided by law. (Prior code § 6-4.2)
